Fleetwood Mac is over for good according to Stevie Nicks

Stevie Nicks has once again confirmed that Fleetwood Mac is over for good.

In an interview with MOJI, Stevie said that without Christine there is no Fleetwood Mac.

'Without Christine, no can do,' she said. 'There is no chance of putting Fleetwood Mac back together in any way. Without her, it just couldn’t work.'

Christine passed away "peacefully" on November 30, 2022. Her official cause of death was a stroke, but she had also been suffering from "an aggressive form of cancer."

Christine was best known for writing and singing some of their band's biggest hits, including Don't Stop, Little Lies, Say You Love Me, and You Make Loving Fun.

Stevie also mentioned that working with Lindsey Buckingham again isn't really an option due to his health issues, 'Even if I thought I could work with Lindsey [Buckingham] again, he’s had some health problems,' she added.

'It’s not for me to say, but I’m not sure if Lindsey could do the kind of touring that Fleetwood Mac does, where you go out for a year and half. It’s so demanding.'

Stevie talked about the possibility of a reunion late last year, 'When Christine died, I felt like you can’t replace her,' she said at the time. 'Without her, what is it? You know what I mean? She was like my soul mate, my musical soul mate, and my best friend that I spent more time with than any of my other best friends outside of Fleetwood Mac. Christine was my best friend.'

However, even though Fleetwood Mac may be over, Stevie is still touring solo and keeping the music alive.

'Fleetwood Mac is all over my set,' she said to MOJO. 'I will keep the music of Fleetwood Mac alive, for as long as I can.'
