Bruce Springsteen has been making and playing music for 52 years, and during a recent concert in Philadelphia, he assured fans he won't be stopping any time soon.

“We’ve been around for 50 f**kin’ years, and we ain’t quitting!” The Boss declared. “We ain’t doing no farewell tour bulls**t! Jesus Christ! No farewell tour for the E Street Band! Hell no. Farewell to what? Thousands of people screaming your name? Get the hell out. I ain’t going anywhere!”

Although he's adamant about continuing to tour (and why wouldn't he be? He recently became a billionaire!), the 74-year-old rock legend has had his fair share of health concerns in recent years.

Last year, Springsteen was forced to reschedule tour dates as he recovered from peptic ulcer disease, and this past June he cancelled a number of European dates after being ordered to rest his voice due to infection.

He's currently on the road in North America playing rescheduled shows.
